Research Studies Accepted for Publication

The MOH Journals accepts editorials, case reports, experiences, and letters to the editor. These studies must adhere to their specific guidelines provided by our journal on this page, and on the template documents you will fill out. All submissions must include a completed Cover Letter Template which can be found directly below.

Four types of manuscripts may be submitted:

  1. Editorials
  2. Case Reports
  3. Experiences
  4. Letters to the Editor

Editorials
Editorials should present an interesting, unique idea that can be explained using published scientific literature to explain your viewpoint. The goal of inspiring thought in scientists, as well as entertain the general public. You are trying to prove or disprove a point using your evidence from the literature.

Case Reports
Case reports are intended to inform the reader about a single patient’s condition. Major aspects to cover include presentation, history, management, and literature review about the condition. Case rarity and hyper-specialization are not necessary. The editor may accept duplicate cases if the reasoning is sufficient, which is deemed by our editorial board.

Experiences
Experiences are a chance for students to share their medicine stories in academics and volunteering, research, etc. The student must de-identify all other people mentioned within the experience.

Letter to the Editor
Letters to the Editor are typical responses to a published work, though they are welcome even if they are a new idea. The manuscript should be written as though the writer was talking to the editor. The main goal is to draw attention to a new idea clearly and concisely or show a difference of opinion on a topic the student holds dear.
